If I was boss of the world the following would be legal:

Drugs

Prostitution

Gambling

Drugs not very regulated. Covered under "Body Autonomy/Choice". No regulation for Weed or Hallucinogenics except quality standards for the safety of the Cool Awesome Hippie. Heroin, speed, coke more regulated though not sure what I mean yet....free treatment if you want it.

Prostitution: Covered under "Body Autonomy/Choice". Some other feminists agree with me and some do not. I come from a different place and have a different idea about prostitution than the ones who are against legalizing it. You can talk about self esteem and body image and sexism and misogyny and self hate and blah blah blah blah...etc. ...and then you are actually the one who looks down on them the most. They are not idiot children. Ask them what they want. Talk to them about those issues. LISTEN.

Trying to help folks from the level of looking down on them....laughable and obnoxious. Yes indeed, being actual humans with brains, they have real thoughts....I had a hooker friend who sent herself through grad school hooking... Being a condescending, patronizing shit ass just isn't really THAT helpful. ...and the idea of wanting it to remain illegal because you really really care about the women. Aww. Thanks. Fuck you. They can think for themselves.

Prostitution should be regulated. Health regulations and such.. Ways to insure the safety of the hookers, child care, health insurance, retirement, etc. ..and help leaving the trade if they do want to do that. All the help they need.

What's that? What about your husband and morality and you don't like it? Not my problem. It has always existed and it always will.

I first met hookers as a homeless young twenties person. I lived in the gay bars when I was that age because I usually ended up getting a couch for a few days. I think being homeless is easiest of all, without any accompanying abuse or use, for young lesbians. It is one of the few ways that being a lesbian is the easiest. It is really hard on young gay boys and straight people...but a young lesbian and all that maternal instinct out there. You get a couch and food often. Also hookers and young homeless kids of any kind. I have slept on the couch and been fed by many. ...and had a girlfriend who was a hooker. Oh wait, I left something out...the point maybe. What are hookers doing in gay bars? Hookers, pole dancers, many in the sex trades hang in gay bars when not working. We don't grope them.

Gambling Heavily regulated. I don't like gambling. ...but one of my rules in life about most things...obviously not murder...when you make something people really really want illegal, it just goes underground. ...and then it gets even more dangerous than it already was. ...and you've just criminalized a whole bunch of people. I still support heavily regulated because now that the game IS money, there will be creepy people among the non-creepy people being creepy.

....and treatment for free if someone is a compulsive gambler, if they want treatment.
